I have compiled a collection of my favourite, free crochet flower patterns on pinterest. A crochet flower was one of the first things that I learnt to crochet. Some can be simple, quick and easy, whilst others have many layers, loads of different stitches are actually look just like a real flower. There really is a crochet flower out there for every skill level, and so many to choose from, here are some of my favourites, many I’ve enjoyed making myself or have them on my growing to do list!
1. Summer Daisy Garland – Just Pootling
Kate from Just Pootling has created a gorgeous pattern for a daisy, plus she shows you how to make these tiny balls too, bringing them all together to make a garland!
2. Cherry Blossom – In The Yarn Garden
Charlotta from In The Yarn Garden has a beautiful step by step photo tutorial, plus a chart diagram to help you crochet these cute little cherry blossom flowers.
3. Blooming Flower – Annie Design Crochet
Carmen from Annie Design Crochet has created a wonderful multi layer flower with leaves. With gorgeous colour combinations like these, what’s not to love?
4. Cuctus – Airali Design
Ilaria from Airali design may be better known for her amazing amigurumi designs, (check them out here) but this blog post is about flowers and guess what? she designed this little beauty. The pattern includes instructions for shaping and styling too.
5. Poppy – Thoresby Cottage
Caitie from Thoresby cottage has designed a pretty poppy that looks just like the real thing! She also has a free Narcissus pattern on her blog too, if you fancy trying one of those aswell.
6. Peony – Picot Pals
Inessa from Picot Pals has designed a collection of Peony flowers, ranging from bud – full blooming flower! You will also find many other flower patterns on her blog, so don’t forget to have a look at them all!
7. Sunflower – Knot Bad
Vincent from Knot Bad collaborated with Furls crochet for this sunflower CAL (crochet-a-long). I love that he combined his love of amigurumi with a flower to create – April the cheerful sunflower.
8. Rose – Sewrella
Ashleigh from Sewrella has created a gorgeous rose pattern, that will have you wanting to make a whole bouquet! She even has a video tutorial.
9. Daffodils – Attic 24
Lucy from Attic 24 has designed a wonderful daffodil pattern, which has a great photo tutorial. Let’s get ready for spring!
10. Flower Collection – Naztazia
Donna from Naztazia has created a collection of her crochet (& some knit) flowers, you will find the lovely patterns and video tutorials all over on her blog.
