Beachcomber Halter Top

I’m super excited to share my Beachcomber Halter Top crochet pattern with you today! I am featuring as a guest designer on the Joy of Motion Crochet blog…..Again!.  I feel honoured to be a part of Jannes blog, having my pattern feature alongside her own gorgeous designs.  I designed and made this Halter Top last summer for myself, but Janne helped me gain the confidence to grade the pattern to fit sizes XS, S, M, L, XL & 2XL.  It is something that I had put off for a while now, for being scared of the unknown!, note to self…don’t be scared until you try it!!

I designed the Beachcomber Halter Top with all of my favourite features in a summer top, halter, racer back & not too tight!!

The design uses simple stitches to allow the yarn to show off!  It’s definitely my favourite summer top in my wardrobe.

I used Sirdar Beachcomber DK yarn in the shade Sugared Coral (50g), its 100% cotton.  It comes in solid colours or variegated colour options, take a look at my yarn review here to hear my thoughts.

Alternative yarns you could use instead –

100% Cotton DK (UK weight) (US DK/worsted)

Just be aware that you will have to use a different sized hook and possibly need more yarn than I recommend, if using something other than Sirdar Beachcomber.

So grab yourself some gorgeous yarn, lets stop the chat and get hooking!
